Abfall makes its triumphant, glitzy return to Paris Fashion Week making full use of their partnership with Swarovski and delivering on their trademark theme of sustainable glam. Creative Director Roy Sommer emphasizes aesthetic over trend with silhouettes similar to Abfall's Fall 2021 collection with practical pieces like knitted jackets, crystalized blazers, and bead-embellished denim, alongside head-to-toe beads-for-days looks that would find themselves at home as a statement gown on the red carpet.

"I met a creative block between seasons," says Sommer, "My girlfriend wore an old unfinished piece of mine that I hadn't thought about since earlier in the year, and it was like this lightbulb went off. I'd been approaching this next line from a place of reinvention when it shouldn't be about starting from the beginning, it should be about building what's already there. At Abfall we [Sommer references fellow Abfall designers Evgeny Koskov and Casja Baumann] all share the same aesthetic and once we agreed that we were going to push that aesthetic as far as it can go, we all felt this freedom in creativity and simultaneously felt loyal to our goal of creating something sustainable and not feeding into micro-trends."

Amelia Gray Hamlin, daughter of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Lisa Rinna, captures this modern-day sustainable Barbie collection, showcasing the easy to wear mini skirts and blazers that are sure to bring razzle-dazzle to anyone's spring wardrobe, and jaw-dropping, digital fantasy beaded pieces.
